Basketball Club: Students in the Basketball Club meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our goal in the Basketball Club is to provide our athletes with the fundamental, mental, and physical development training to reach their highest potential as team players. Objectives include: developing a love for the game of basketball; developing the skills necessary to enjoy the game; instilling the values and lifeskills that enhance sportsmanship; and developing student athletes that value learning and academics.

Interactive Games Club: On Tuesdays, students have the opportunity to practice strategic games that enhance their critical thinking skills and reinforce the lifeskills of Cooperation, Problem Solving, and Friendship. Students also strengthen their visual-motor coordination as they engage in interactive digital games, and enjoy developing their visual-spatial abilities with lego creations. The students’ higher order thinking skills are enhanced as they try to master each game. Some of the games also incorporate teamwork in which students have to work together to achieve a common goal.

Fitness Club: Fitness Club is available on Fridays. Students are provided with opportunities to improve their fitness levels and overall health. Students will be able to identify their personal fitness goals including weight management, cardiovascular improvement, and strength enhancement. Our goal is to help each student enhance their physical fitness.

Science Club: The Science Club meets on Fridays, and provides students with the opportunity to explore and examine their surroundings and the world through the various disciplines including Chemistry, Biology, and Physical Science. Students engage in hands-on experiments and explorations as they apply critical and creative thinking skills through scientific inquiry. Students also question and investigate their surroundings, build hypotheses, test ideas, discover solutions, and most importantly, develop even more scientific inquiries. The goal of this club is to cultivate a lifelong passion and curiosity for the sciences.
