Objectives include: developing a love for the game of basketball; developing the skills necessary to enjoy the game; instilling the values and lifeskills that enhance sportsmanship; and developing student athletes that value learning and academics.

Interactive Games Club: On Tuesdays, students have the opportunity to practice strategic games that enhance their critical thinking skills and reinforce the lifeskills of Cooperation, Problem Solving, and Friendship. Students also strengthen their visual-motor coordination as they engage in interactive digital games, and enjoy developing their visual-spatial abilities with lego creations. The students’ higher order thinking skills are enhanced as they try to master each game. Some of the games also incorporate teamwork in which students have to work together to achieve a common goal.

Fitness Club: Fitness Club is available on Fridays. Students are provided with opportunities to improve their fitness levels and overall health. Students will be able to identify their personal fitness goals including weight management, cardiovascular improvement, and strength enhancement. Our goal is to help each student enhance their physical fitness.
